AutoSkill® software wins a 2006 Teachers' Choice Award for quality, instructional value, ease of use and innovation

Academy of READING® endorsed by teacher-judges from across the United States

Jan. 9, 2006

Ottawa, ON - January 9, 2006 - AutoSkill® International Inc today announced that its flagship product, Academy of READING® literacy intervention software, is a winner in Learning Magazine's prestigious Teachers' Choice Awards program.

A nationwide panel of unbiased teacher-judges tested over 400 products in the classroom, evaluating them on quality, instructional value, ease of use and innovation. The Academy of READING received excellent reviews and secured the Teachers' Choice Award in the education software category.

“I am thrilled to see AutoSkill's product, Academy of READING, among the winners. It's evident from the evaluator feedback that this is an effective resource for teachers,” said Anne Sumpter, Publisher, Learning Magazine. Learning Magazine is committed to providing teachers with practical, hands-on tools to enhance their lessons, and over 150,000 teachers use Learning to plan and purchase for the entire classroom year round.

In commenting on their selection of the Academy of READING for a Teachers' Choice Award, the reviewers noted how the program was based on solid research, provided individualized training that had been proven to improve students' reading skills, and kept students motivated by providing constant positive reinforcement.
